Flirting … Get Better at it!

December 27th, 2007

Stumbled across this interesting little article in a health website, Yahoo’s Health (actually Men’s Health) and it talked about how flirting is good for relationships!

It’s Dave Zinczenko’s Mysteries of the Sexes Explained, and called: Why Flirting Can Help Your Relationship.

Basically he says that flirting is good for you. But you have to be careful to take that energy and good that you get from the flirting and put it back into your real relationship. Not to go off on some chase for that cute guy or girl you flirt with on occasion.

How’s it work? He essentially tells you that flirting gives you confidence. We all know that confidence is eroded everyday. Why because of us here knowing that Cupid has missed, there are times when confidence seems non-existent. So even if you aren’t confident, you can feel it!

Second, he says it builds up sexual energy. That anticipation, tease, and fantasy can get you wound up - perfect for a great night at home.

And it also keeps you sharp. You will keep yourself on top of your game and mentally sharp and aware of the sexual side of life. And maybe you’ll be lucky and never enter the dating scene again (happily hooked) but if you do, your skills will be sharp.

And I’ll second his word of caution. Don’t let the flirting turn into something that will destroy your existing relationship. If you don’t have one, such as my case, then I caution me to try and not destroy someone else’s good thing!

More from Dave can be found by clicking here, where they have reprinted a bit of one of his articles about the differences between flirting & cheating.
